TIME TO BUG OUT
Now is the time to keep your garden pest-free for better yields and longevity.
Here’s a couple ways to do it organically:
Anti-bug netting
This allows most of the sunlight, wind, and water to pass through without letting in insects. Of course, one thing to remember is that certain plants need pollination, so utilize as needed.
Safer oils and sprays
Neem oil, tea tree oil and anti -insect sprays with castile soap are proven methods for insect control. However, don’t apply these sprays when the plants are stressed from either heat or drought and make sure they touch the insect for them to be effective.
If your pests are a little larger garden-variety of furry nibblers, then simple chicken wire should do the trick if properly.
Hopefully these hints can help you get ahead of the pests, and you can sit back and watch that garden grow. Or better yet, you can hop in your ROXOR and really bug off!
