About Mahindra Automotive North America

In 2013, the Mahindra North American Technical Center (MNATC) was founded to aid in the conception, development, and engineering of world-class Mahindra vehicles. Built around an expert team of deeply experienced engineers, MNATC quickly established a track record for designing and delivering original, high-quality vehicle platforms across continents and market sectors. This early success, and the talented team driving it, inspired Mahindra to further grow our automotive operations in the United States. In 2017, we significantly expanded our capabilities and renamed ourselves Mahindra Automotive North America (MANA).


We’re proud to be the first new automotive OEM to set up manufacturing in Southeast Michigan in more than twenty-five years.

Mahindra gets a Motor city Presence

Being the first new automotive OEM to launch in Southeast Michigan in over a quarter-century comes with high expectations, and at Mahindra Automotive North America we are working daily to exceed them. The North American headquarters of Mahindra’s automotive group, MANA was conceived in 2017 to introduce to the North American market Mahindra’s rugged, work-proven vehicles fit for the world’s toughest roads.
