DOG DAYS OF SUMMER
A lot of great things have been said about dogs…
Unfortunately, talk is cheap, even when the words are rich. Because the truth of the matter is that too many dogs find themselves on the short end of the fetching stick. That reality became clear to us at ROXOR as the middle of summer approached. The time of year when we humans throw around the phrase – the dog days of summer. The hot, humid slog of the season.
It got us thinking. Hey, wouldn’t it be nice to take some dogs for a ride in a ROXOR? Dogs that may never have had the opportunity to go off-roading. Wouldn’t it be cool to have dogs experience the freshest of air? A big blast of air cooling them off during the dog days of summer. Yeah, that would be really cool.
So, we did.
We reached out to the very wonderful, re-affirm your faith in humanity, folks at Happy Paws Haven. A foster based animal rescue founded in Michigan. Their mission is to promote and provide care, comfort and compassion to animals in need through fostering, adoption, spay/neuter, education and community outreach. After talking to one of their founders, Libby Baxter, we knew that ROXOR’s own off-road “journey” has led us to a really great place.
