ROXOR’S TOP TEN OFF-ROADING TIPS
Summer’s here and that means the trails are calling for you to get your butt out on them. But before you do, here are some things to think about.
1.
Inspect your ROXOR – make sure you check your oil, fluid levels and verify there are no leaks.
2.
Pack survival gear. Always better to be cautious, even if you’re not going on some big adventure. Make sure you have the proper gear to get you through the night and can handle medical emergencies that may occur.
3.
Whatever you bring with you, make sure you strap it down and it leaves with you.
4.
Stay on marked trails – don’t veer off and make new trails. Often, they cross designated wilderness areas that are preserved and protected.
5.
If you’re on single-track trails and see traffic coming up, try and find a safe spot to allow opposing traffic to pass safely.
6.
Take breaks. If you need to rest or just want to stop to take a beautiful photograph, make sure you find a place that is safe to pull over and won’t obstruct traffic or cause safety concerns.
7.
When you park, be sure to use your parking brake.
8.
Leave those wild animals be – it’s their natural habitat so give them some space.
9.
Obey closures, posted signs, and don’t do anything stupid.
10.
Last, but not least, have fun!
