Q&A: ROXOR Owner Allen Marcotte
Owner, ALLEN MARCOTTE of Texas has his eyes on the prize. A ROXOR.
Q: What’s the first thing that caught your eye when you were about to purchase your ROXOR?
A: “The first thing that caught my eye was the way they were built versus the competition… it [ROXOR] was all metal versus plastic.”
Q: When you were deciding to purchase a new side-by-side what were you looking for the ROXOR to provide?
A: “I was looking for a vehicle that was not fast and [a vehicle] with a tremendous capability of not being rolled over.
[ROXOR] had a 30% grade of being able to drive on an angle… and had a roll bar and
a lot of safety – built in seat belts, a net.
You’re not gonna’ get going fast in a ROXOR or [go] from 0 to 60 in three seconds… and that’s what I like… I like the durability of it.”
Q: In comparison to the ROXOR that you have now, how does the ROXOR differ from the other side-by-sides that you owned?
A: “… [My ranch] has a lot of ups and downs and it’s a very mountainous area, and [the ROXOR] will crawl up anything that I could put in front of it.
I could put the ROXOR in low and on the first gear, crawl up a mountain at 2 mph versus having to try to run up at 20 mph — it’s a lot more stable and safe.
This machine is a lot more powerful, a lot more durable. And this thing’s bulletproof — you can’t break it.”
